Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Captain Master to lead the transfer of a vessel during its relocation. In this role, you will take full command responsibility, ensuring safe navigation, compliance, excellence, and high service standards with maritime regulations. Moreover, you will provide effective leadership of the crew throughout the operation. Ultimately, our Shipmaster Yacht Crew position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced maritime professionals to lead onboard operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume full command of the vessel, overseeing all navigational and operational aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with COLREGS, SOLAS, ISM Code, and other relevant maritime regulations.
  • Conduct predeparture safety checks and risk assessments.
  • Lead and manage the crew, ensuring operational discipline and safety.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders throughout the voyage.​

Requirements:

  • Valid STCW Master Certificate of Competency.
  • Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ command experience on vessels under 500GT.
  • Clean criminal record (background check mandatory).
  • Ability to mobilise to the South East England region within 3 hours of alert.​

  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
