Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Machine Mechanic to support the maintenance and operation of industrial and CNC equipment. This role involves carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure production runs efficiently and equipment downtime is minimised.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across production machinery.
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Maintain CNC machines, woodworking, and metalworking equipment.
- Troubleshoot 3-phase motors, control panels, and automation systems.
- Maintain compressed air systems, pumps, dust extraction, and compressors.
- Support general site and facility maintenance as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems.
- Exposure to CNC machinery or automated production equipment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of maintenance issues.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices within a production environment.
