Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Marine Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical, electrical, and onboard systems. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring strong fault-finding capability across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and service marine mechanical, electrical, and onboard systems.
  • Install electrical systems, lighting, navigation equipment, and pumps.
  • Carry out fault-finding and system testing to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Support vessel refits, upgrades, and multi-system installations.
  • Prepare vessels for maintenance and ensure protection of assets during works.
  • Maintain clean, safe working areas and support workshop operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marine engineering (mechanical and/or electrical).
  • Experience working across multiple onboard systems, including electrics, plumbing, and electronics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Recognised technical qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices within a marine or workshop environment.
