Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced GSE Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of ground support equipment. This role is essential in ensuring all airside equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in line with operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance and repair of ground support equipment (GSE).
  • Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
  • Service equipment including baggage tractors, belt loaders, ground power units (GPU), air conditioning units, and pushback tugs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections.
  • Ensure all equipment meets safety and compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a mechanical role (GSE, HGV, plant, or automotive).
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
